What tools come with OPUS?
- The following utilities are available:
- dat2gif
- Copies and renames data for the sample
pipeline
- fitsverify
- Verifies the FITS files created
by the g2f process
- ftp_proxy
- Provides FTP scripting capability with security checks
- kval
- Writes specific FITS header keyword values to stdout
- kwmod
- Modifies a single keyword value in a FITS file
- listhead
- Dumps all FITS header keywords in a FITS file (primary
and extension headers)
- opus_broker
- Used to start OPUS tasks from the command line instead of from
the PMG.
- osf_create
- Creates an Observation Status File (OSF)
- osf_delete
- Deletes an Observation Status File (OSF)
- osf_test
- Queries and prints selected fields in an Observation Status File (OSF)
- osf_update
- Performs update of certain fields in an Observation Status File (OSF)
- osfile_stretch_file
- Determines the first true location of a file
- pstat_delete
- Allows user to delete process status entries (PSTATs) from the PSTAT
blackboard (use with extreme care)

- Allows user to control OPUS processes through their process status
