GMA
This command adds the daily MAMA summary images into a lifetime
image. Thus the lifetime image will be the cumulative summary
of all photons having hit the detector.
WARNING: Both the MAMA_xxx_yyyymmdd_OMA.FITS files and the
LIFE_xxx_MAMAHIST_OMA.FITS files should be in the same directory
where you run this command.
Usage:
GMA MAMA_xxx_yyyymmdd_OMA.FITS
Context
Inputs
The argument to the GMA command only exists to indicate that you
are running the command interactively. All MAMA*.FITS files will
be processed by the command. The database relation grand_mama
will initially be checked to determine if the MAMA daily file has
already been summed in the lifetime history. If so, that daily
file will be skipped.
Outputs
The LIFE_xxx_MAMAHIST_OMA.FITS file will be rewritten with the
addition of the MAMA*.FITS information. The database relation
grand_mama will be updated to indicate when each exposure has
been written to the lifetime image. That is, the record for the
exposure will have the field lifetime_date filled with the current
date.
