A number of aperture locations are defined within the STIS coronagraphic mask that allow different widths of the occulting wedges to be selected for use with CCD imaging observations (see Coronagraphic Imaging-50CORON for further details). A number of observers have found it useful to use a non-standard wedge position that is narrower (about 0.6" wide) than any of the pre-defined locations. This location was added to the supported list as WEDGEA0.6
during Cycle 12.
