

This document contains a list of all component tables and wavelength files 
currently used for STIS Synphot.  All of the files are available in CDBS.  
It is important to note that throughput curves are not available for all the
individual components.  The throughput for each Mode is given as total predicted
system throughput.  The throughput for the OTA is included in these total, so 
it is important to include the keyword "NOOTA" in the obsmode to get the proper
throughput.  (See Using Synphot for STIS: An Addendum to the Synphot Users 
Manual.)  Components for which there is no throughput information currently have 
the value 1.0 or "INDEF" in their component tables.  Slit throughputs are based 
on the Effective Areas of the apertures and do not currently contain any 
wavelength information.
