PREPRC

The OMS preprocessor detects telemetry errors in AEDP subset files and writes them to an text file in the same directory. The text file has the same name as the subset and the extension is changed from .VC% to .ER%. If a subset.ER% file already exists, PREPRC will skip processing that subset file. The .ER% file must exist or OMSANAL will abort. The preprocessor will always create a file that includes BOF and EOF timestamped messages for the first and last good minor frames in the AEDP subset file. In addition DROP messages are written for incorrect parameter values and bad minor frames. If more than five seconds of data are missing then BGAP,EGAP messages appear. Two qualifiers enable the user to overide default limits for dropping an entire minor frame if too many parameters have incorrect values, or to terminate processing a subset file if too many bad minor frames are found. The default limits for DROP and ABORT are in OMS_INIT_DIR:PREPROC_SETUP.DAT
