The COPY/DIR menu allows the user to copy AEDP related files to and from PASSOPS and to list directories.
A selection is made by choosing one from each category: "Operation", "Files," and "From Source".
For example, to copy Astromety files from PASSOPS, the user would enter: [C] + [A] + [P] = "CAP". To list subset data on the RSDP node, the user would enter "DSR".
The user must enter all three characters when selecting.
Enter RETURN to exit the menu.
The SHOW/SET menu allows the user to view and change current command settings:
The RSDP node: the SOGS node to which the AEDP products are to be copied.
The PASSOPS node: the node where the AEDP products reside.
The Staging dir: the directory on the PASSOPS node where the products are located.
The Product dir: one directory for each product type -- these are the directories on the RSDP node to where products will be copied from PASSOPS.
The .LOG/.DEL dir: one directory for each product type -- these are the directories on the RSDP node to where the log files and File-deletion procedures are stored. This directory is by default set to be the "Product dir," but it can be set to be any directory.
The .LOG/.DEL files: one file type for each product type -- these are the root file names for the log files and the File-deletion procedures (xxx.LOG and xxx.DEL).
The filters: one filter type for each product type -- these are the filename filters used for copying files from PASSOPS. The filters are specified: "filename.ext;version_number", where ";version_number" is optional.
Editor: this is the edit command that is invoked whenever an editing function is selected from a menu. This defaults to EVE, but can be set to any valid edit command (LSEDIT, EDIT/EDT) -- although commands that spawn editors in separate subprocesses have not been tested and may yield unpredictable results.
Enter "Y" to edit the initialization file used to set these values. When the user finishes editing and exits the editor, the initialization file is reread and the current settings are changed according to the new contents of the initialization file.
(If no initialization file exists, the user will be asked if one should be created containing default values. The user can then edit this new file and proceed.)
Enter "N" or RETURN to exit the screen.
The EXAMINE LOGS menu allows the user to examine and delete log files and file-deletion procedures.
A selection is made by choosing one from each category: "File Operation," "Product," and "File Type."
For example, to type the log for Astromety files, the user would enter: [T] + [A] + [L] = "TAL". To delete the log files and deletion procedures for subset data, the user would enter "DSB".
The "Edit" operation will not work with a "File Type" of "B" for "Both."
The user must enter all three characters when selecting.
Enter RETURN to exit the menu.
